We know that each business is unique, so the Business Efficiency Projects starts with a preliminary consultation meeting to evaluate the client’s particular issues and requirements.
We provide the client with honest feedback about whether or how we can help, and the best way forward to address the issues. We will develop a Proposal that clarifies project scope, deliverables, timeline, resources, costs, objectives and other project details.
Stage 1 - The Analysis
In order to understand the issues a client has raised, we will conduct an analysis / review of the department / unit / business to indentify ‘bottlenecks’ and where improvements in the process can be made.
The Analysis is a process of data collection, diagnosis, action planning, interviews, process mapping, and evaluation aimed at enhancing congruence between organisational structures, process, strategy, people and culture.
The areas that may be reviewed but not limited to include:
- Strategic direction
- Business operations
- Organisational structures
- Business systems and procedures
- Performance Measures
- Human resource management
- Information Technology
The Analysis is also a time for staff to get involved in the project as it provides a forum for which they can clarify and identify areas for improvement. This process can assist in the implementation stage as staff understand and are ready for change and in some cases, identify barriers that may resist the change management process.
In the event we identify issues that are not within our expertise, we will draw on our extended network of contacts to assist in the relevant area.
Stage 2 – The Implementation
After the Analysis has been conducted, we will develop an Action Plan Report that identifies the findings from the Analysis, Return on Investment (ROI), project management objectives such as timeline, cost, and resources required for Implementation. The Action Plan Report in itself adds great value by providing a 'blueprint' that lays the foundations from which the operations of business operations can change and grow.
We work together – until the project objectives from the Action Plan Report are reached. The value-add for clients is that we pass on our knowledge, and train the staff in the new systems and reporting measures. We don’t write a report with a list of recommendations and leave our clients to implement. We know that changes in attitude and workplace behaviour take time, and we are there to provide support every step of the way.
We are committed to effecting lasting change for our clients by drawing on a depth of hands-on experience, supplemented by the latest training techniques. Whilst for many people it is natural to resist change, we are able to provide the inspiration required, opening the way to facilitate action.
The supportive approach we take consistently results in staff working more efficiently and effectively, which ultimately enhances the working environment.
